Wow, sounds like The Legend Of Zelda ! ^^

Melodies :
The melodies are perfect, I mean almost flawless ! They fit well together and are complex and creatives ! The only problem is that they are not really memorable, I think because it's not repetitive at all. I mean it can be a good thing, but if you "harass" the listener with a memorable melody, he will remember this melody and your track will have a better personality !

Instruments :
The instruments were simply awesome ! One of the best mix combination I've ever heard ! They were well used especially at 1:05 (the horns which add drama to the melodies) and from 2:29 until the end, which was simply epic !

Personality :
Well, as I said before, the track looses personality due to not-so-memorable melodies ! But it's an uncommon style which is pleasant to listen to !

The title doesn't really fit ! X)

Melodies :
This is what this music needs. To be honest, the melody that started at 01:36 was nice, but why does it start at 01:36 ? I mean there's a huuuge build up, way to huuuge ! Huuuge. Huuuge. HUUUUUGE !!! And there's no variation !
Okay okay, so what's the thing ? In fact, you really need to add more melodies and more variations around your main melody ! Remember : no melody for too long = boring !
It's unfortunate because I really think the main melody is cool !

Instruments :
There's a good work on the instruments, the drums are really good and it's really orgasmic when sounds are responding to each other like at 0:59 (nice unusual drop by the way) !

Personality :
Well the problem is as there is not much of a melody, it completely destroys the personality of the music ! I can't say "this music is original because there is not a true melody" ! :/

In overall, please work on the melodies. Do more true melodies in one track, more variations, and not big silence of 1,5 minutes ! X)

Well, in fact, I have nothing to say about the melodies, they're kind of flawless ! ^^
They are really worked and memorable, especially the voice which start at 03:15 ! X)

Instruments :
The instruments are really good, in fact they are absolutely perfect ! The amazing synthesizer of the beginning, the resonating kick which start at 00:16, the... glockenspiel (?) of 00:41, the memorable voice at 03:15... But there is one thing that ruins everything, it's this bass solo at 01:37... I'm sorry to say that, but it sounds terrible ! :3

Personality :
Nice personality too, It's that kind of music that will haunt your mind forever ! X)
But again, the bass solo ruins everything ! T_T I mean it really doesn't fit with the music, and it makes for a minute this stunning song a bit ridiculous !

That's a really great disturbing music, but I think the bass solo kind of destroyed a part of the song ! But it's just one part of the music and it proves you can do amazing tracks ! =D

The melodies are like "meh" to me... I mean they are complex, worked and everything, but I don't feel like this is something new. Maybe you could try to give your melodies a more "unusual" touch !

Well I don't have to say anything about the instruments... I mean they fit well between each other, they are well mixed... Except WTF OMG WHAT THE HELL ARE THOSE F*****G STRINGS AND BASS AT 01:10 ? 0o
You NEEEED to compose a dramatic music with those instruments dude YOU MUST DO IT !!! ZBWAAAH !!!

Well, you know, the personality of the music is completely destroyed by the "unoriginal" melody, it's trance after all so it's difficult to build a personality !

You must try to give your music an aspect that remains unforgettable for the listeners (especially by working on the melody), that's how your music will get an amazing personality ! BUT DUDE PLEASE MAKE A DRAMATIC MUSIC WITH THOSE STRINGS AND BAAASS !!! 0o

Thanks for your review! And I definitely agree with you, often the "dancey" type songs are harder to get a nice personality with. Then again I was working mostly on mixing and that seems to be alright! About the dramatic song, I got one in the works right now and I might just have to add that bass! =D

The melody is pretty good, but I feel like there could be more variations ! Because of this, I can say no more ! :/

Instruments :
Instruments were in my opinion pretty flawless, I particularly love the beginning synth and the piano !

Personality :
Well here's the problem of the music, as the melody is Ostinato, as there is no drops and as the song has no real ending (it just shades off at the end), I felt like that was a music like any other, maybe you could work on giving your songs a better personality !

I think you can do very good melodies, the first one (which starts at 00:00) is really nice, but the problem is that there is no link between all the melodies you created in this track ! 00:06 was kind of orgasmic, but I was so disappointed you chose not to follow this road and break this part (at 00:10) !

Instruments :
The first synthesizer is cool (I really like this part :3) and all those voices responding to each other at 00:06 (I do really like it) are just wonderful ! Generally, it's all really beautiful, but I think some voices sound terrible (like the one at 00:36) !

Personality :
This music is really creative, I can't deny it ! And the way you're using all those voices is... Unforgettable !

Great creative work, maybe you could just work on the structure of your next track, especially in order to make the melodies linked ! =)

Thanks for the reply, MysteriousPresence! You're right - 0:06 was pretty brilliant. But this track is about as schizophrenic as myself O_O Maybe I'll try to make a track out of that small portion. It seemed to have a nice vocal portion, as you've identified. :)

For some reason, I really like the vocal at 0:36, but it's actually eye-opening seeing that there's reason to dislike it, and I think I can see why. Thanks for acknowledging the creativity. The way I'd describe my own sound is "experimental and creative but overall, needs a LOT of polishing". The problem is, when I go to polish my tracks, they can often turn out worse than they were originally! (I am quite bad at mixing)

Thanks for the very kind words. I'll try to work on the structure of my next track, to link those melodies together. Hopefully the coherence will bring a new level of depth to my tracks.

[Virginia Slimm VS Lexa Hergon - Im Evil [Mashup]]

This song is awesome ! *_*

Melody :
The melody is really nice, it fits very well with the vocals (that were created before the instrumentalisation if I'm right), congratulations to both of you because I don't think creating a melody which is pleasant to listen to and fits good with the already-existing vocals is an easy task ! From 00:34 to 00:45 was particularly orgasmic !
The lyrics are magnificent too ! They rhymes perfectly well and are really poetic ("Don't take it back, nothing's changed, always the same, rearranged, at least as bad, more deranged..." <3) ! Well done Slimm on those lyrics (if I'm not mistaking, you wrote them) !

Instruments :
No surprise, the instruments are perfectly mixed and chosen, I personally love the strings starting from 00:35 to 00:44 ! The voice is really beautiful too, I love when it becomes high like at 01:34 !

Personality : Those 8-bit-like instruments are unexpected for this kind of lyrics, which is really important to me. As well, the voice is unusual too, it creates an unique aspect for this song and makes it unforgettable !

I'm not as amazed as the other reviewers, but that was pretty cool ! :3
Firstly the main melody is really good and inspired ! But I think there's a problem with your instruments that are really ugly ! The synthesizer that starts at 00:26 is not bad, but when the notes are getting higher, it turns terrible ! The drums are not quite enjoyable too ! Those which starts at 01:55 are way more appreciable !
So I was not really impressed until 03:38 which is really beautiful, and this until the end !
But this is just my opinion !

Yeah, the synth does sound a little high pitched. I'll try to use lower notes next time. The drums were actually from the pack that FL Studio comes with. xP I'm planning on getting some new drum packs though so my drums sound much better! And about the ugly instruments, all the VSTs are actually free ones except for Messiah, the main synth. I can't afford any other VSTs yet, but someday when I get enough money I really want to get Massive.

[Undertale - Battle Against A True Hero (Smash Remix)]

I don't know the original Battle Against A True Hero, but I don't really know what to think about this music !
In my opinion, the first part is kind of soulless, the melody (which maybe comes from the original) is not really memorable, the instruments used are not quite enjoyable too as I think they don't fit together, especially the piano and the synthesizer that start at 00:18 ! Furthermore, I think the new synthesizer which starts at 00:42 is terrible !
Then comes the drop at 01:05 that I really like, and the melody takes another turn, becomes way more appreciable, as for the instruments (especially the main synthesizer which starts at 01:24) !
Overall : not your best work, I prefer your original compositions (I think you know that I'm a huge fan of yours ^^) but the second part of the music is really enjoyable anyway ! I think you're more talented than the original artist (Toby Fox as I know) for creating melodies !
